INSPIRED BY DOG

Amanda Otto is an artist and dog musher based in Denali, Alaska. A two-time veteran of the famed, thousand-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, she draws inspiration from her dogs and the incredible wilderness they traverse together. Otto is a self-taught watercolor and ink artist. Trail & Canvas is her celebration of mushing and wildlife, both near and far!

Otto is also a motivational speaker and is particularly drawn to stories of perseverance. She currently gives presentations at Husky Homestead, owned and operated by four-time Iditarod Champion, Jeff King, during the summer months.

If she's not running dogs, you'll likely find her sketching, pack-rafting or hiking  somewhere along the Denali Highway!
