BEEP BEEP!

Otto is a dog trainer and spent a number of years working with stock dogs and bird dogs in Eastern Idaho. She gravitated towards sled dogs in 2016 and has yet to find anything quite so fulfilling as traveling with teammates she raised and trained herself. 

Otto made her professional racing debut in 2021 with Husky Homestead, running the Copper Basin 300, Willow 300 and winning the Alpine 200 to cap off her inaugural racing season. In 2022 she ran the Iditarod for the first time and again in 2024 with a top-10 finish.  She is a repeat winner of the coveted Humanitarian (veterinarian's choice) Award for outstanding dog care in several races.
